Kyung W. Kim is the CIO of Diamond Dragon Advisors and a Senior Managing Director based in the Hong Kong office.
Ms. Kim was formerly a General Manager of Shinsei Bank where she worked with the CIO of the bank to establish the bank’s alternative investment program and invested in private equity and real estate funds and hedge fund investments from the bank’s balance sheet. Prior to this, Ms. Kim was an investment banker for Warburg Dillon Read and Morgan Stanley and a paralegal for the US law firm, Davis Polk & Wardwell. Ms. Kim initially started working with Diamond Dragon Advisors as a Senior Advisor advising the firm on GP selection and due diligence. Now as the CIO and a Senior Managing Director of the firm, she will continue to lead the firm’s fund origination and advisory services.
Ms. Kim has a MBA in finance from Columbia University and a BA in Biological Basis of Behavior and Japan Studies from University of Pennsylvania.
